Women: Make-up or Natural?

Do you think that natural beauty is more valuable than make-up? A lot of people believe so. There is nothing like natural beauty! But....wearing make-up doesn't make someone less valuable. Just like wearing extentions and weaves doesn't mean her less of a woman than the next! When Make-up is applied....it actually brings out the beauty in a woman and in some cases it gives women the confidence to continue with her day. If a woman already has natural beauty, think about just how beautiful she will be when she applies make up. Make-up is also used to cover-up flaws in the skin...who wouldn't want that? Even though what's there is there(the bad skin)...make-up will always be there for that woman to be beautiful all over again! This doesn't make her less of a woman...its makes her more of a woman to admit that there are flaws and do what it takes to be beautiful. Men love natural beauty, but they can't take their beady eyes off a beautiful woman with great make-up...So who will they go for...the plain woman or the woman that took her time to look beautiful? Oh yea, and Remember natural....probably isn't always beautiful anyway.

Style.....Have Your Own

It is common to want to know what trends are currently in style. You may not be sure of what shoes to wear with a pea coat or what shirt will look best with your new pair of dark jeggins. I hate when people say...."She don't know how to dress", "She doesn't have style". Well, everyone is different. What someone decides to wear is nothing less than style. I have opionions myself about outfits that I believe should have never ran across someone's mind, but I also know that there is no right or wrong way to dress. Of course different occassions have what we consider the appropiate attire to wear to them, but if anyone refuses to do so they aren't technically wrong. I believe that it is well understood that fashion is diffent and unique in it's own ways however, some downgrade others' fashion because of their own fashion beliefs. If you want to wear sneakers with a suit....Do It!...It has been done. If you feel like leggins and a tee-shirt with heel... is sexy go for it! A colorful bow tie with a pink button up....a plaid skirt with high boots....Get it in!

Pajamas && Head Ties.....To Class???!?!?!

I think I have seen it all! My first year of college, the second week to be exact, I was taking a stroll to class when I couldn't help but notice a girl passing me with a whole pajama outfit on! not just a tank and the pants...or the shirt and some sweat pants....but the entire outfit! Plus bedroom shoes. But that's not even the issue! She was ALSO wearing a bright colored bandana that didn't even match....(if that mattered). She looked like she just rolled out of bed, slipped on her slippers....and slipped right out the door. What a bad way to present yourself. It appeared that she was far from a classy woman. There are two main reasons students, mostly females, do this. One, they're not feeling well at all and taking the time to put on appropriate clothes is a bit too much energy to waste. And number two He/she just may want to feel comfortable and having a day where he/she just don't Care. Oh yea, and three....they just don't care!?! People are watching you and in some cases, you never know when someone has interpreted their "first impression of you". In other words, you should always keep yourself looking presentable in public. An opportunity that is well-needed, may "pass you by"....and keep walking to the next. Being that she was female, I believe that this behavior crosses the proper etiquette line. Wear proper clothes to class...I also see people do this in public places.. This is NOT appropiate. Pajamas are bed time attire. Dress appropriately! I know these thing cross your mind while you prepare to go to your destinations!

First Date...Heels or Flats??

A lot of times we a women love to impress our men in whatever ways that we feel will get the job done! You are going on your first date which happens to be a blind date. You want to impress this individual and present a great first impression! You also want to be as comfortable as possible and might be a little nervous and as a result you are stuck between the choice of wearing heels or flats! Flats are the most comfortable and you don't have to worry about tripping over a rug or looking at every single step you take so you won't embarrass yourself. However, they seem to be a bit boring....When we all know that most guys love a woman in a pair of hot heels! Afterall, you are trying to impress him. A woman in heels is a sign of confidence! It is also very sexy expecially if a woman coordinate them well with her outfit! and men loves a woman with confidence! Heels are a great impression on women so whenever you go out on your first date...walk with confidence and be sexy at the same time!

What You Should NOT Wear To A Ball

When you hear that someone is hosting a ball what do you picture? Do you picture the host standing on speakers waving his hand back and forth with amicrophone in one hand and a cup of alcohol in the other? Do you picture strippers sliding down poles and giving lap dances? Do you even picture a bar? If you visualized any of these images you may be confused. So are the people who wear short cocktail dresses that are very revealing. There is a huge difference between club attire and ball attire! A ball is meant to be a formal and calm event. So where is the proper etiquette?? Many people are so used to dressing in clothes that are revealing they do it any and every where! The ideal ball attire for a woman would be a long glamorous halter dress with glass shoes...simple jewelry maybe some long diamond dangling earrings. Her hair is most likely to be in an updo. This is more traditional and classic. Not the stripper heels with the short dress, back out and cleavage hanging out. Gowns are the classic ball attire that is where the word "ball gown" originated from.

Some Clothes Should Not Be Made In Plus Size

Being over weight of course has it's limits. Your ability to be active and energetic...limited... Your ability to fit into spaces that average weight people can fit in...limited....The amount of greasy and unhealthy foods you can continue to consume before your arteries get clogged and cause a massive heart attack...limited.... But what about the length of clothes you wear and what about the tightness of clothes you wear? should this also be limited? There are clothes that I just believe shouldn't be made in plus sizes. For example, leggings. Leggings are meant to be tight and fitted to the body but what if you have too much body? Some things just appear to be disgusting. Some overweight people rather dress to be revealing rather than appropiate. Some things that are initially made for an average weight person wear will take away from the fashion sense when it is made to fit an overweight person. There is nothing at all wrong with being confident and loving your body but when it comes down to things such as fashion, there should be a limit. Another example is short pants. Short pants, of course, are not made to be lengthy at all. But when are shorts too short? Even average weight people can some times wear short that are too revealing but what about the things that others don't want to see. Such as loose fat swinging when someone over weight struts around in them? Shorts should be made lengthier for plus size women just being considerate of themselves but especially others. Dresses should not be made where it reveals too much fat and are too short. As long as these clothes are being made the more plus size people buy them thinking that it's okay to rock these clothes; which can be a disgrace to their own body. Some fashion should be limited with it comes down to over weight people. In reference of this blog, I am not discriminating against any sizes this blog is completely opinionated. Thanks for reading!!!

Designer VS. Average Fashion; What's Really Better?

Does a Logo with the name "Gucci" on a wallet make it more qualified than a basic wallet from Family Dollar or K-mart? Does the "Gucci Wallet" make the money that you obviously wasted buying it with reappear inside of it? The answer...is...no! Does buying a nice-looking wallet out of Family Dollar meets it's purpose AND save you money to keep in it?...Yes!! Does a pair of shoes with a nike logo eliminate the pain and discomfort of walking long distances? Do the shoes make you eager to walk to class or motivate you to go for a run when you need to lose some weight? Does a Baby Phat watch with diamonds sorrounding the time speed time up when you're bored some place you rather not be? Or does it freeze time when you get stopped by a police for speeding so that you can relocate and forget that it happend? My point exactly, designer fashion does not make that fashion piece any more qualified than the average fashion piece. Spending more money is also wasting more money especially if you are trying to keep up with the Joneses. I can go out a buy a beautiful purse that isn't name brand like on my left and spend less money but also take pride in it! Keep it clean neat and organized and take care of it. It will keep it's value. Or I can buy a 250$ prada purse like the one to my right and sit there looking at it just like you are, wondering how it can better my life because I just wasted about 210$.
